thanks for letting me join and the hard and fascinating work you do. I am USAF historian stationed Stateside currently, but I was stationed in Germany for five years with the 435th Air and Ground Operations Wing at Ramstein AB. It was there that my passion for the WWII 435th Troop Carrier Group grew (the WWII predecessor of the modern 435th). The 435th is my focus and the locations they were stationed at RAF Langar and RAF Welford. I have already filled many holes in my knowledge about how RAF Welford in just two days and look forward to learning more and sharing what I can add to the forum.
