I am an English pilot but have flown in the USA for over twenty years. Although I am now retired I have never lost that spark which dragged us miles as kids to the nearest airfield just watch aircraft come and go. I learned in the many years I was flying that there are pilots and aviators, the former fly as a means of putting bread on the table and aviators just need to be up there and will do anything to achieve that; I like to think I am the latter.
I have found that none flyers who love all things relating to aviation often find it difficult to approach pilots to ask questions. If I could answer one question which would keeps someones dream alive, then all iv'e achieved has been worth while!!
