Hello from Cornwall and help wanted! was created by Smiller
Hi, aside from a personal interest in airfields and the lighting used on them I am also lucky enough to work for a company that salvages and restores old lights including many from airfields and aircraft themselves.
I'm hoping to find out more information about the lights and would be grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of archives and museums or photography collections that would help me to collate information.
Thank you! :-D

Ps any explorers out there with photos of lights in their original settings I'd love to see them and match them up with their salvaged and restored counterparts.

There are a few lighting experts on the forum and a lot of threads relating to lighting, as I sure you have already found.

Welcome to the forum as well.

Welcome.
I would have thought a starting point in Cornwall would be the RAF Memorial Museum at Davidstow www.davidstowmemorialmuseum.co.uk/
