RAF Grimsby-Waltham Windmill was created by Bloodhound1949
I visited Waltham Windmill yesterday with some friends, we heard that a group of motorcyclists were meeting there as part of their RAF "100" tour around british aviation sites...

Very nice chaps and the site itself is very interesting - I had not visited it for 30 odd years. There is a good museum, miniature railway and even refreshments in an old railway carriage. The site has original nissen huts, which had used as part of the WAAF site for RAF Grimsby.

Royal Enfield was due to sponsor the trip around the country by supplying the riders with bikes and backup but they withdrew their support...
I believe they have major fuel system problems with some of their present range of machines...

The chaps turned up on their own steeds, many thanks to them.....

They were on their way to the old RAF Lissett site and then to overnight at RAF Leeming.
