Was reading up on the 401st Bombardment Squadron of the 91st BG. One of their B-17s crashed into a hill near Cushendall, NI in a fog while arriving in the UK along the northern leg of the ferry-delivery route from the US. 9 men died.
Is there a memorial to the crew in this area? I poked around a little online and didn't find any reference to one.
