National War Memorial at Chesham Bois. Bucks. was created by airfields man
I've known for a long time about the former RAF Airmen listed upon this National War Memorial at Chesham Bois. In total there are four RAF names engraved along with many others from both World Wars. As I go here most Fridays I thought that I would stop and record the four mentioned RAF Airmen. If you Google, Pilot Officer Roy F. Ferdinand. you will see three threads about this Hero.One includes a photograph Gallery. Next time I will take my camera.

Airfields man, this is exactly why we (ARG) should be recording War Memorials - thanks very much for highlighting this.

The other Pilot named upon this memorial is Pilot Officer John Musgrave. If you google his name it should take you directly to the Aircrew Remembrance Society page with the relevant information. The other two names listed, Flying Officer George H Turner. Flying Officer Roderick W P McKenzie. have no information regards Google.There's more to follow later this week concerning one of the other Airmen recorded on this Memorial to All.
