BULWICK - Australian C-47 Crash was created by ljlentz

Looking for information on the crash of an Australian C-47 in 1945 outside the village of Bulwick, Northants. Believe they were heading for Spanhoe and went down on the approach.

The village would like to commemorate their sacrifice and asked me to try and search for their names and find out the disposition of the crew.

ljlentz , I think you may mean Spanhoe rather than Stanhope which is a village in County Durham ?

Might be advisable to check your spelling in the header and good luck with your research .
