C-47 Skytrain Crash, Brentwood, Essex

I am interested in finding out more about the C-47 Skytrain crash near Brentwood in Essex mentioned in the following article:

The accident apparently took place on 10th February 1945, with the plane coming down on the corner of Ongar Road and Kensington
Road, i.e. about here:

Between 5 and 7 American servicemen are said to have been killed, but only the names of two are known (Joseph T. Grant - www.honorstates.org/index.php?id=29128 and Vernon M. Williams - www.honorstates.org/index.php?id=73632 , both of the 61st Troop Carrier Group, 53rd Squadron).

However, the Aviation Archaeology accident report index ( www.aviationarchaeology.com/src/AARmonthly/Feb1945O.htm ) doesn't seem to have anything that vaguely resembles a C47 crash in the appropriate location on that date, and I have struggled to find anything mentioned in any local history books (which seems a bit odd).

I would be very grateful for any pointers on where to look next, as ultimately it would be nice to try to get a memorial for them in the church. Thanks.
