This small but perfectly formed museum is located in the Cannex in Goose Bay

a few more, I have never really got the hang of taking pictures of pictures
The last one will be familiar to anyone who has been in the North in winter, if you don't plug you car in it won't start! This is not so much the case anymore as apparently modern batteries are much better than those of 20 years ago

But I know what the motto of RAFU Goose Bay is, its "landing place of the great white bird".

I wondered what it meant as well, three didn't seem to be any explanation and the museum was not staffed so I could not enquire within

It may be related to the RCAF Reserve Augmentation Flight, there are references to the Air Reserve. This link provides history but no solid explanation. www.rcaf-arc.forces.gc.ca/en/air-reserve...ory-air-reserve.page
Definitely Air Reserve Augmentation Flight (ARAF). The designation changed to Air Reserve Flight. The unit at Goose Bay is 5 Wing Air Reserve Flight.
