The door knobs are pistons as can be seen from a Herclues lll. Or I suppose they could be from a Wellington...

top little museum great chap in charge, visited 5 years ago, also visited the airfield and almost lost the car to a glider after not reading the signs, too busy looking at the art deco tower lol wife very mad about that one!

Excellent little museum. I've visited it a few times now. Nice freindly staff as well. Well worth a visit.

Popped in again earlier in the month while my wife was surveying the market stalls in the main street

ps I think they have had some artifacts stolen over recent years and have been advised not to permit photography inside as this allows the thieves to assess the value before nicking them
