At the Red Feather Club, 95BG Museum.
Horham. Eye. Suffolk. IP21 5DG
Come and have your say about this major project which aims to help local communities throughout the East of England reveal and record information about the USAAF 8th Air Force so that future generations can remember its wartime role and engage with this important history.
Meet the steering committee, discuss ideas and get involved!
David Hastings MBE will be giving a short illustrated talk about the iconic “Diamond Lil” and Mark Howell from RAF Mildenhall will be talking about the base infrastructure which supported the brave wartime flyers.
We’ll be supplying soup, sandwiches, teas, coffee and cake (of course) and you can enjoy one of the best WW2 museums anywhere free of charge!
