eh up mawganmad, Newark was my first thought tbh but I broached the subject when there at the last cpf I attended and got the impression they weren't interested (not shiny shiny or interesting to look at as a passer by, afterall she just looks like a box doesnt she ). But thankfully Hawkeye has helped me out so she's gona be ok for the foreseeable future.
Anyone got any ideas again for housing my harwell box?
It is at Scampton but the RAF want their hangar back, so mine along with all other exhibits in there have to go apparently, and the museum staff weren't given much if any notice either.
It might be, bit far mind, I'm up nr Newcastle, I sent Carlisle aviation museum an email last summer and they never replied so they are no go, I think I tried Sunderland aircraft museum but got no reply aswell, East Kirkby, where they were thinking of the box wouldn't go through the door...
How about Desborough Heritage Centre they are looking for anything involved with the airfield which did have Harwell Boxes, I even found the officer who looked after them.

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!
I don't know tbh but again it's a bit too far away, as I take it to cockpitfest when possible, so from Newcastle to south of Cambridge then to newark then to south of cambridge then back up to Newcastle with a trailer is too much hassle, time and £.
Does anyone have any contact with Aeroventure or know how receptive they would be to having it on loan? I went there today on the way back from lincoln but the radio lot weren't in.....
