It looks like this may well clash with Bruntingthorpes second Cold War Jets Day in August which will be unfortunate for Victor & Nimrod fans as this will mean that they'll be two of each blasting down two separate runways on the same day in different parts of the Country & they wont get the chance to see both but never the less it's great to see this event return -

Rolling Thunder Days are back!
On Sunday 27th August, the live Cold War Jet aircraft resident at the Museum will once again be active and thundering down the vast two mile runway at Elvington airfield.
Join us for a much anticipated day of live aircraft high speed runs along the huge Elvington runway as our jet aircraft enjoy some exercise on this famous runway.
Blackburn Boccaneer – our freshly repainted 1964 Buccaneer will be showing off her beautiful new Royal Navy paint scheme.
Victor XL231 – One of the heroes of the Museum, Lusty Lindy will be live on the runway as we enjoy a chance to see her moving in action once again.
Nimrod XV250 – The Maid of Moray will be live on the runway as we recall the many aircrew who served on board these remarkable jets and also, of course, those who were sadly lost in service. Seven years after her arrival at Elvington, she’s still ready to go.
