In view of the developing situation with the coronavirus pandemic the above event has been postponed to a future date as yet unknown. We will post here once it has been resurrected.

The church turned the cancelled event into a virtual VE75 celebration for the village. It was well received with lots participating, plenty of bunting, VE teas in people's own gardens, & folk in 40s dress. Some superb video presentations were shared via social media/email/website etc to mark the events that were originally planned nationally. They followed it up with a virtual VE75 Thanksgiving Service on the Sunday. The link is here if you want to take a look.

We had a from garden party, yelling at neighbours across the road. Proceedings commenced with a bugler playing The Last Post.
