Volume 2 is finally on the way to being finished. I hope to have it ready for proofing in January. However I am still having difficulty in locating old Flight magazines from 1936 to 1940. Did anyone down load any mags of that time frame from the Flight Global web site when the Flight archive was available a few years back?

I also need some photos of the Pillboxes at Detling, there are ten there but the only ones that I am interested in are those that have the thickened walls or more importantly those that have part thickened and part thin walled.

If you can help, please email me: paul.francis.arp&gmail.com

To recap, the new volume is in two parts, RAF Training 1919 to 39 and synthetic training. The other part is Technical buildings with airfield defences and bomb stores etc. It will be slightly thicker than Vol.1; it has a comprehensive further reading and sources listing as well as appendices etc

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

The Flights for 1936 to 1938 appear to be here but looked to have been lifted from the Flight Archive as each page is a single PDF!

I think it also holds all issues from 1909 to 1930ish as well.
