I have been advised that there is to be a talk on RAF Stenigot by Chris Lester. It is to be given at St John's Church Lounge, Spalding, at 7.30 pm on Thursday 21 April.
This is followed on 21 May at 12.30pm with 'Railways and Radar', an event which is part of the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival. Starting from Donington-on-Bain Village Hall and led by Stewart Squires and Chris Lester, this is a moderate walk of 7 miles with one steep hill. The blurb states "Along the way we will hear the history of the railway through Donington-on-Bain, Stenigot and its church and Stenigot radar station. Contact details are available.
