And it wasnt that long ago that South Marston was an active airfield, I remember it having an entry in the BINA.

Certainly active in the '70s; I remember talking (from Farnborough) to aircraft going in there who for some reason didn't want to talk to Lyneham.

And Im surprised Carnaby can no longer be seen, it had one hell of a runway!
