I'm planning some research on the Air Defence of the UK during the Cold War. I plan to use SD161 Location of Units in the RAF. and so I'm trying to find out where it might be held. I've been in touch with The National Archives and RAF Museum who have most of them but neither has a full set. Does anyone here know of any other archives that might have sets? The issues missing from both archives are 1970-1972 and 1981-1984 so those are the ones I'm really trying to find. I'm waiting to hear back from IWM and I've written to the Air Historical Branch too.
