What is strange on this site is if you click on "Web" then click on "Maps" it takes you to Multimap. Odd that!

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

Just noticed that the coverage of central / northern Scotland isn't a patch on what it used to be. Six months ago I always preferred Microsoft Local.Live over Google. The latter now leaves Bing standing.

Yes. Google seem to have picked up a lot of the Getmapping coverage that the Windows Live site uses for Engalnd, Wales and small parts of Scotland.
Who will be the first for Northern Ireland - I look at least once a week!
Makes you wonder if anyone is going to put pre 1990s stuff on!
Talking of which - If you zoom out on GE, with the rollback feature on, over Europe you can get dates going back to 1963 or 1973 but where that is I have no idea. The US has 1940 somewhere but it must be such a small frame that it is difficult to see.
