Good to see footage of Biggin Hill and Manston, both visited by me from the late sixties onwards. The gate guards at the Biggin Hill Memorial Chapel in 1958 are how I remember them - pre replicas.

I was looking at RAF Llanberis earlier, there seemed to be some footage of the original main site where there were workshops with blast walls around them. We looked around several times when I was at UCNW, there is a large building shown which I do not remember but it was a long time ago!

Coastal erosion at Cowden uncovers unexploded bombs dropped in training runs in years gone by.

A lot of the films are from Northern Ireland because that is where the pilot of the project was done.
