Interesting stuff! Cheers for the link.

Talking of Lightnings i could hear the Lightning at Bruntingthorpe blasting down the runway this evening for one of it's 'twilight runs' and i was about 15 miles from the actual airfield. Amazing how powerful (and loud) those engines are.
