here is site I came across a few years ago.
This link contains a collection of negatives found in a basement of an antique shop. They appear to be unadjusted scans of the old negatives. If you are into nostalgia of WWII, there is much to enjoy in this collection.

Regarding the photo titled: "125 mission Lancaster 06": looks to me like the ship will not make 126!

What a great set, an amazing find. I like the Tower Bridge one with the ARP post. I can just about remember the area when it still had cranes and partially active. Must have been 1964/5 using the travelcards of the day, Red Rovers and later Twin Rovers. Why can I only recall it in black and white?

Nice low beat up of that airfield, the Lanc being the famous S-Sugar that clocked up 127 ops. Now in the RAF Museum Hendon.
Where were the airfield(s) though ?
