Basically 16 interviews with people from the swanage area who lived through the war. all with varying backgrounds, some local children, some evacuees, some military personnell some civilians.
nothing in the book is specifically airfield related as the purbecks did not have any airfields, but there was an awful lot of communications and radar based along the coast. it's a fascinating book and several interviews have helped to understand and interpret things i've found, and another interview has given me new things to go looking for..
