I spent an absolutely mind blowing afternoon looking over the massive records of aviation in Leicestershire and Rutland that local aviation historian John Collier has built up over the last 20 years since his retirement. He's an absloluetly lovely guy who is only to happy to share his passion of the local airfields and aviation in general. I was there for four hours and only managed to scratch the surface. A revisit is already planned.
