The new Military Aviation Authority has published a Manual of Aerodrome Design and Safeguarding, which is available on-line here:

It covers all aspect of aerodrome design, including specifications for lighting which will be of interest to the light bulb buffs.

All the MAA documents are only available as pdf downloads as far as I'm aware REF. Start saving for a box of paper........
