It says inside
Aircraft apprentices..........................15 and 17 years
Boy entrants .................................. 15 and 17 1/4
Apprentice clerks ............................ 15 1/2 and 17 1/4
To be accepted Boys must specified dates be between the age limits shown above

Yes, I joined as an Aircraft Apprentice in May 1956 aged 15 years and 4 months. Three years training then out into the real world......
