'Scottish Aerodromes of the First World War' Book Review

Just a short review for 'Scottish Aerodromes of the First World War'. To me, a well done and organized development of the aerodromes and specific information and maps on structures, usage and anecdotes. I did have to get the 'ghost stories' from other sources (e.g. Montrose). The pictures are good and well reproduced.
Recommended.

I got a copy last year WJT and it can certainly be recommended. Whilst it's not big enough to cover anything in great detail, its range of coverage is extensive, bringing up a fewsites I'd never come across before. As well as the normal airfields and landing grounds, it also covers airship bases, balloon sites and various permanent and temporary seaplane sites, as well as manufacturers' airfields. The plans are generally taken from the National Archives AIR 1 official document and therefore cover the main sites only, but are nevertheless welcome.
