There is now a common access point to the Welsh HERs, ARCHWILIO

There is an associated Android App which seem to give access in the field and also allow corrections to be made directly though I have not been able to get it to install on my Android Tablet.

(The Matchbox Story is worth watching)

The first Welsh link has a wide range of archive material, it could be worth some searches on WWI airfields etc. I just did a search on 'WIRELESS' and found some fascinating stories about wireless intercepts, spies etc.
