I'm curious about the Camouflage page (p30) where it shows "Grass grown over steel landing ground of aerodrome". I am guessing the pages date from 1941/2 because these things tend to be 2-3 years out of date.

I should think that steel matting would soon have grass growing through the joints unless it is treated and that this may have been encouraged during early war years.

On the same page I assume that the camouflaged anti tank gun is in a snowbound setting? I can't envisage the RA in white unless it's winter camo smocks over regular khaki serge.
