Surprised no-one has yet mentioned the Airfield Focus series, published by Graham Simmons of GMS Enterprises. The 75th of this handy series (which features Southend) has just been published.

Got a load of them. Variable in quality, print wise.

Agree on that, but at £4.50 to £4.95 per copy (except for the specials) you can't bitch too much!

Only seen the St Mawgan and St Eval ones, both very good and great value, if necsesarily brief.

The £9.99 ones are also good. Again quality is variable but as was said earlier at the price there is no complaints from me. I must have around half of them by now!

Got a couple of them. Just come across Britain in Old Photographs series, and there are several dedicated to airfields. Got the ones for Tangmere, Lympne, Hawkinge, Manston,Chivenor and Cosford with St Mawgan still to arrive. Going to save reading them intil the cold dark nights.
