Yes, the old photograph series is very good. I have the Manston, Hawkinge and Lymne ones and also the Dartford, Eltham and Gravesend (town) ones. Everytime you look at them you spot something new. So far most of my spare cash is going on document and photograph copying. I will have to wait until Xmas to get the latest Airfield Focus editions.

Perhaps Graham would donate a set to the archives?

Just got the new Airfield Focus Special - "Airfields of Caithness". Written by well-known author of all things Scottish, Peter Clegg, it covers the airfields of Wick, Thurso, Castletown, Skitten and Dounreay. Excellent value at £9.99.

In reply to you Noel, we were donated 1 to 84 but do not have anything more modern that that. So Mr GS, how about it?

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Although the series may be variable in quality i've found that all the USAAF entries so far that i've bought have been excellent both in info and pictures.

Any chance of Wymeswold and Desborough being next on the list ;-)????

NP, No.84 is the latest one issued so we're up-to-date.

Do we have any of the 'Specials' which are bigger and better (10 or 11 issued to date)?

Graham Simons is one of the guest speakers at this years ARG AGM at Bentwaters. He'll be bringing a few wares with him as well.
