Book - Home Bases

I have just bought a copy of Sean Kelly's Home Bases. It describes the experiences of American military personnel based around London and includes:
Bushey Hall and Bushy Park, Eastcote, High wycombe, Northolt, South and West Ruislip, Uxbridge.

Over the last decade, working with Paul Francis, I've witnessed the destruction of several of these bases and hence found the book fascinating.

Spent an hour browsing this fascinating book last night and discovered amongst the numerous credits:

Paul Francis, with whom I got to spend a wonderful couple of hours at West Ruislip and Eastcote. Paul is a legend among the airfield and base fraternity for his unrivalled knowledge of the buildings, their architecture, their changing uses and particularly unique features. If anyone knows the design and building details of a base then he does!

In ' One Last Look ' by Philip Kaplan & Rex Alan Smith it contains at the bottom of page 57 an interior photograph of a rendered brick hut that uses the prescribed inappropriate description.
