Not sure where to post this so I've created a new topic (moderators, please move it to where you think it should be)

What has happened to the Norfolk Airfields thread? It is in alphaetical order and threads with new posts won't seem to move to the top? Has it been reset?

Moved to a more suitable place. Airfields are ordered alphabetically to aid searching within the county threads. New posts will also appear in the recent topics tab.

I guess the ordering is one of those things that suit some people one way around and others prefer it another way. At least with an alphabetical listing people (especially new people and visitors) can find their way around more easily.

It's the same thing with in thread post listing newest first or oldest first. I have mine set to newest first which then causes issues with post numbering and referring to posts within a thread!

Thanks, Dietmar; also for explaining about the ordering. I thought that I had inadvertently changed some settings.

I had a quick look at the archive but I found the scans too low resolution to read some items - unless I was too impatient and it took a while for the zoomed version to load. Having said that there is a lot of interesting stuff on there and will require a bit more time.
