Whilst looking for some other old faithful documents I found this. This was the 1979 2nd Edition, the first edition was 1978. I think the more famous Military Airfields 3 part series started a couple of years later. This booklet is similar to the Merseyside Aviation Society booklet in that it offers lists of airfields and location, runways but is in A4 size so an easier read for me today.
My copy is much scribbled on with pen and pencil.

In the 80's we went specially to the UK to search for remains of the airfields.
