I would say not, at least in this location. The area had no buildings on the 1958 maps, but this map may be a pre-war one with major updates only. It's there by 1964's map (1:2500) but on later maps it is marked as a depot.
There doesn't appear to be any other buildings that would indicate military use but it may have been purchased and moved there.

Shire Lodge and the surrounding sheds was all S&L's (and later British Steel's) estate yard.
