Whats this (at Gransden Lodge) was created by REF
Looking at the airfield on flashearth I saw this to the south of it;

Any ideas what it is? I was there yesterday but didn't have time to look around properly as I didn't have time. I'll be heading back there soon though.

Its a shooting tower, part of the skeet shooting club.

If they are shooting then you have to be carefull and I think you are waved through. This is when the red flags are flying.

I did some taster gliding from here a couple of years ago. The picture is the grass strips in use today.
