ROTOR Site Query

Please could anyone assist in explaining what the equipment in the following picture is?

It's the internals of a building that sits behind the Snaefell ROTOR site and between the main building and underground reservoir.

Compressed air tank and associated bits by the look of it. Would probably have also housed one or a pair of compressors.

Either for starting a standby generator, or possibly for a sewage ejection system.

Subbrit has identified it as a “pump room” so I’m going to go with the second option, especially as the building is not part of or near a generator building.
