Was this ever an airfield? RLG for Abbots Bromley or Tatenhill maybe? There is a 1942 ATA fliers map currently on sale on fleabay. Some of the hand written updates are known to me but Handsacre isn't. Anyone know more?

Interesting map, shame about the price as it would have been good for my collection of maps and charts.
I notice HOAR CROSS is marked in blue but very feintly. Also on another snippet, FARNSFIELD marked as an airfield with BLIDWORTH marked also in blue. I assume Blue is the colour for the then secret SLGs.
Handsacre is a mystery, so far, as I can't think of any airfield associated with that location. As it is dated 1942 perhaps it fell out of use or was unsuitable?
