I live in Huntingdon and use the A1 regularly.Heading north from St Neots around the Southoe area, on your left is what appears to be a couple of hangars.They appear to be well maintained and of ww2 vintage.Was this ever an aviation site or simply a case of a farmer buying surplus buildings using them for agricultural purposes.NEIL
Not that I can find. The blister hangar type one could indeed be a WW2 blister but it could also be a more recent contruction. I don't think the other one is a hangar though. Maybe some else can be more definite?
The "blister" appears to be 112ft long. It appears on maps post war in the late 50s. The smaller is more recent and seems to arrive in the 70s. All these dates are very approximate as such features are not always updated on maps often enough to be precise.
