It's a Ministry of Works Handcraft Hut made by the Universal Asbestos Company Ltd from 1942 onwards.

I'm looking at page 133 of Paul's new book which will hopefully be appearing in the non-too-distant future !!

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite :twisted:

How odd, despite the cows giving them scale they still look half the size they should be.

Looks like a very desirable housing estate, I bagsy one first!

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

ACADEMIA had a very good guide to military buildings a few months ago. I can't see the link at the moment but should be easy to find on their wenbsite.

Yes, a a number of images within the document are attributed to Paul Francis and ARG.

Do I see cows in close proximity to asbestos huts?
Do cows provide food and drink?
Do cows lick things?
