What is this mystery site? was created by SimonT
Not sure whether this is the correct forum, but has anyone got Any idea what this place might be?

This place is actually just South of former RAF Gaydon next to the M40 IN warwickshire, and theres a similar place to the south, here...

There appears to be, what looks like, bomb bunkers and theres a rail link to these.
Any ideas?

they store alot of ammo there and from what i was told in theory if it ever went up it would take birmingham with it.

You would also see on here a tunnel like place, road with walls down the side.

Kineton is where the army train its Ammunition Technical Officers ie the bomb disposal operators. There are a lot of areas at Kineton where they do role plays for the ATOs.
Must admit I find it odd that bomb disposal isnt done by just one corps in the army. On the battlefield its a Royal Engineers job.
