looking at a aerial photo from then.
Could it be a fuel tank for the bomb dump as you wouldn't want them to close to each other.
I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure that tank is not original to the rest of the structure. I would have thought there would have been a mention of it being a fuel store (or whatever) somewhere on the site plan even if it is quite a distance away from the rest of the main site & not on the map.Let's face it though most site plans have quite a few bits of missing info. I even thought it may be part of another HAA battery like the other nearby but......??????
