similar in principle to a rabbit warren, you know where to find em so you can knock them on the bonce and put them in the pot, the only problem with hares is they dont live underground so you have to fence the little chaps in
The whole reason for wildlife is so that it can be either shot or run over. in March i had a pheasent fly straight it the loan cabs headlight i was driving. An total impact speed of 60 mph did nothing to improve either O/s headlight or Pheasent. Pulling it's remains out of the light wasn't very nice either. Bloody wildlife.
I saw the aerial photo first and stored it in the brain and when I was going through a location map for Wellbottom bombing range (not proceeded with) I saw the Hare Warren and it clicked.
Wouldn't it be funny if they actually used chicken wire below the ground to stop the blighters digging? Protoype for the the radar mat!

I had to read all the posts twice before it clicked! An enclosure to keep hares captive for the pot. I have seen similar features on the terrain when flying with Google Earth so it's a useful thing to know when eliminating objects. Captive rabbit warrens I am familiar with but not hare enclosures; I must have led a sheltered life!
