Many thanks for all that information chaps. As I said earlier, I've been going past this building for years and often wondered what it was used for. I didn't spend too much time there but the brick [addition?] on the right looked like the men's toilets, no-doubt the ladies one on the left. Shame that it didn't have any WW2 airfield connection. Cheers all.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Is this the second one of these that have been recently found? Perhaps we should have a dedicated thread. They are interesting structures after all.
