Probably rather a long shot, but any guesses as to the location of this photograph which shows my wife's Grandfather, presumably just after he joined the RAF c.1936.
Can't help on the location but based on the date and what they're wearing I'd say it's one of the pre-war EFTS courses. That might narrow the options down a bit.
Not service uniforms underneath so that backs up the EFTS theory. The building looks Art Deco in style so just need to match EFTS locations with the building style

Thank you for the helpful suggestions. Our understanding is that he applied to join the RAF immediately on leaving school, so that rules out the University option. He was from South London, but whether that makes any particular EFTS more likely, I don't know.
