Airfield Identification please

Once again you have all been so helpful and answered my question, thank you very much indeed. As so many have contributed I will acknowledge the Forum rather than individuals when I put the film on Site. You have, of course, even provided me with extra interesting detail, thank you for that also. I really enjoy the knowledge and detail that you have to offer and naturally lead me down other paths. That said, and because of your additional comments I have reviewed other frames of the film and come up with what is a clearer picture of the under wing which, to me at least, reads WF 202. It is impossible to read any tail detail anywhere. Hopefully, that clarifies the actual plane. Because of the discussion on that aspect I thought that I would offer you this: Shortly after the plane is shown to take off the film cuts to what was stock film footage revealing a totally different plane in the air! I wonder how many of the audience at the time noticed? What can be said about this craft?

The second one is from NAS 898 Brawdy but you'll have to find someone older than me to identify it from the squadron number.

Many thanks Iain, a few frames later it does a turn and shows its wings with the identity WF 186. Sold for scrap I see, also at Abbotsinch on the 28th July 1960 to Kitson Vickers & Sons.

That is more information than I ever expected so I had now get on with putting the film up on our Site with thanks to you all.
