PA474 was pulled out of the Hangar & spent a brief time sunbathing this afternoon whilst I was up at Coningsby. She will finally fly again 'any day now' -

Listed for Monday....anyone else other than BBMF and I'd say they'd make an unscheduled flight on sunday if the weather is ok to meet up with the tin triangle.

I just put 'any day now' in my post as I'd heard about 10 different days, dates & times (including today) from all the rumours flying around Coningsby yesterday.

A formation with the Vulcan & Lancaster has been in the planning. Air to air photographer John Dibbs confirmed it was planned when he signed my mates book a few weeks ago at Duxford. He will be taking the aerials although obviously he couldn't confirm when it was due to happen back then. He did say it was planned to be over the Peak District which the Vulcan isn't flying over during the Farewell tour this weekend by the look of it so who knows?!
