They used a very small bit of that footage on the excellent 'Reunion Of Giants' DVD so it's nice to see a much longer film of it.

So which ones are missing from your list?


XA893 - Cosford (store)
XA903 - Stoneykirk
XH560 - Rayleigh
XH563 - Over Dinsdale
XL361 - Goose Bay, CANADA
XM573 - Ashland, NEBRASKA
XM605 - Atwater, CALIFORNIA
XM606 - Barksdale, LOUISIANA
XM652 - Welshpool

Of those, Cosford would have to be arranged or visit when they open the store up. Stoneykirk needs more investigating to find owner details, Rayleigh is a difficult one as I have no idea who owns it and no idea or exact location. Over Dinsdale is one to visit when I head up north next. Canada and USA ones, well I hope to see them one day and finally the one at Welshpool, when I head over there I will try and find it.

I have a vague memory that they recovered the refueling probe from it in Goose Bay) to support Black Buck, but I cant substantiate that

I visited the old delta lady at her Finningley Retirement Home yesterday. It was nice to get an XH558 fix this year even if she did have to stay firmly on the ground -

She's still looking good for an old bird -
