I recalled today reading a book about Seaking aircrew. One of them related how on an exercise he got airborne with a live nuke, he flew once round the carrier and was very pleased to land!
Anyone see the pics on the news of Donald Trump being medevaced in a SeaKing? I thought the US Marines had stopped using them, and I thought he was daft to go in to the cockpit and thank the pilots. Surely theyll now have to self isolate?
There is a Sea King flying slowly around the north coast of Cornwall today near Tintagel. Appears to be pale grey and to be operating out of Newquay/St Mawgan. Registration of GFLKI from a website. I have Googled but cannot find out any other information.
