Just watched an excellent episode of BBC's Women at War It featured broadcaster Nicky Campbell whose mother was a WAAF radar operator in WWII. Some excellent historic, and current RAF Boulmer footage). Also a rather good 'What airfield is this' mimic board for the anoraks amongst us.

Thursday 23 November on BBC4. Two repeats @ 10pm "Britain's Greatest Pilot" Winkle Brown followed by "Operation Jericho" @ 11pm.

BBC2 this Thursday from 9pm - 10pm a four part series called ; Blitz; The Bombs That Changed Britain A New Series. So it says.

The Dead got memorials, The living got time.
